The members of HFEBC consider Christian Education a crucial and important ministry. Jesus commands us to study his word, II Timothy 2:15, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. We invite you to obtain a closer walk with Jesus through the study his word. His Word increases your knowledge, teaches application for daily living, offers deliverance, and salvation. HFEBC has provided studies for everyone at every level and age. Sunday School 8:00 a.m.
The Sunday school is a Bible-teaching ministry and its textbook is the Bible. We seek to enlist the unsaved and the lost in the study of God’s’ Word. Our goal is to provide a greater insight into the study of the Bible and make God a reality in our everyday lives through practical application. If you want to increase your spiritual awareness, then come join us for Bible Study. Through studying God’s Word you will learn how to apply it to your everyday lives. As First Ebenezer moves in a different direction we have those who have said that they make themselves available to do the will of God in a leadership capacity. We offer training of knowledge and experience to equip leaders in doing the will of God. Missionary Studies
It is an essential to know God’s Word in missionary. We the Missionary at HFEBC have in-depth studies in order to be equipped in witnessing for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We invite all to come out and learn God’s Word with us. Studying of His word helps us to have a guide for Christian living, a lamp to our feet and a light to our pathway.Marriage Seminar
This is for individuals who are preparing for marriage, couples seeking to improve the marriages and singles that have a desire to be married. There are discussions and biblical training in preparing for a Godly marriage. We bid all that are seeking marriage come and get a clear understanding of what it takes to have a Godly marriage. Theology Studies, 1st Monday, 7:00 p.m.
This is an in-depth study of religion, faith, practice, and experience in relation to the world through God’s Word. We take scripture and study line by line and precept by learning history, seeing revelation and applying it to our lives.New Member Orientation
New Member Orientation is an introduction to HFEBC and the Christian walk. This orientation is required for all new members in preparation for baptism, rededication, service, and welcoming into the body of Christ. There is a briefing of the original church history, the beginning of New Testament Church, the Baptist Church; it’s Doctrine and the Church covenant. The Articles of Faith – What Baptist believe, are discussed and explained. The way and plan of salvation is defined and taught. Baptism, the Lord’s Supper, (the Ordinance), tithing/offering and the church structure are taught with clarity, using the Bible as foundation for obedience and guidance.Ministerial Guidance
This is one that is set apart for those who have accepted the call of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel. In this ministry God’s Word is shared to ensure that we are on one accord to witness, and assist others in accepting Jesus Christ as Lord. Through this ministry we provide leadership to the church by having Jesus Christ as the most important figure of the Church and our lives. This mission of the Vacation Bible School is to provide an intense week of studying God’s Word. This study is directed at all youth helping them to build a stronger foundation in the Lord Jesus Christ. This is also a great time for adults as they learn and apply the Gospel to their lives. The membership of HFEBC encourages and invites all attend this week of study.Deacon and Deaconess Training
The Deacon and Deaconess Ministries provide the church with spiritual leadership and guidance. This ministry is set apart for those who have made a commitment to the Lord Jesus that they are willing to serve unconditionally. The servants of this ministry must be a reflection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Showing love, care, truth, and most of all faithful unto the calling of the Lord Jesus Christ.
