Youth Ministry
HFEBC understands that the future of the church lies within the hands and hearts of our young. We believe in providing spiritual guidance and education to the youth so that they can run with the task of changing the world with their walk, talk, and actions. We try to encourage our youth to understand that although there is nothing they can do to lose their salvation, they must examine themselves daily to determine if they are truly living a Christian lifestyle. Our Youth Ministry is a dynamic ministry that works with kids from 1-20 years of age. This allows us to be able to properly transition them through the foremost developmental stages of life. HFEBC Youth learn how to serve in every aspect of our worship experience. They are taught to share their love for Christ and express it comfortably both inside and outside of the church walls.
Mission Statement
Although we believe that God has a sense of humor, we take the training of our young seriously. God has called us to "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Our mission is to empower our youth to choose Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and become His disciples, encourage them to develop a lifestyle that will reflect the light of Jesus in every way, engage them to learn the truth of God's Word through bible study and fun filled activities, and enable them to be tomorrow's world-changers for Christ.
Purpose
We will educate our youth on how to use spiritual thinking as a tool to develop mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually into men and women that God will use in every corner of the world.
